The Shared Inventory is a shared online inventory management solution based on a software called StageStock. Theatre companies, freelancers, and producers can use this software to organize and share their inventories of props, costumes, lighting instruments, etc. Theatre-makers looking for items can search the entire inventory at once, and then connect with the owners to borrow or rent the items.

Philadelphia Scenic Works created The Shared Inventory in partnership with Philadelphia

Theatre’s Resource Sharing Committee (RSC). The RSC is a group of theater professionals who organize initiatives to share resources with performing arts institutions and individual artists in the Philadelphia area. The group’s goals are to reduce waste, increase cross-company conversation, and create more avenues for sharing the community’s resources. Guided by generosity, the RSC strives to make the Philadelphia performing arts sector radically innovative, equitable, and sustainable.
