We expand access to high-quality arts experiences by removing the financial and logistical barriers of custom scenic fabrication. We allow schools and nonprofit arts organizations to focus on their missions while benefiting from professional craftsmanship, shared resources, and sustainable practices. 

A robust technical artist workforce is integral to the region’s art organizations. PSW recognizes that organizations are often too small to engage and grow technical artists, but the caliber of their programming often requires advanced expertise and craftsmanship. We bridge this gap by consolidating artists work under one roof to provide consistent work, and by providing free and paid training that prepares diverse emerging artists for sustainable backstage careers while strengthening the region’s cultural workforce.
