PSW is a 501(c)3 and so your donation is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
With a Stock Donation
If you own publicly traded stock that has increased in value—and you’ve held it for over a year—you may be able to unlock significant tax advantages by donating the shares instead of selling them!
Here’s why stock donations are so effective:
• You avoid capital gains tax (typically 15–20%)
• You can deduct the full fair market value of the stock
• You support your favorite causes (us) without dipping into your cash reserves
Of course, don't take our word for it! We're not accountants. Make sure to review any major financial decisions with a financial advisor and/or CPA. Or throw caution to the wind; we're grateful either way.
With an In-Kind Donation
"In Kind" simply means a donation of materials as opposed to money. In Kind donations can be a fantastic and creative way to support PSW. Reach out to us if you have something you'd like to donate and we'll let you know if we can use it!

With Your Time
Volunteers create magic for our partners by helping us in our wood and paint shop! We can use volunteers at all skills levels and will work with you to find jobs that fit within your interests and expertise.
