These free workshops are part of our Education series, a grant-funded program aiming to expand and train the pool of people interested in carpentry, painting, projects management, props, and general DIY. This fall, we’re presenting two series of independent workshops aimed at giving you tangible skills you can take with you into your own work.
These workshops are graciously funded by the Anne M. & Philip H. III Glatfelter Foundation.

Join us for a cozy evening of woodworking and winter treats. PSW's Shop Foreman, Matt Goldsborough, will teach you to craft a beautiful five-pointed star out of a natural hardwood. This step-by-step process involves learning to use power tools such as the Jigsaw and Chop Saw. The class will also include a break for cocoa, cookies, and chatting! This class is open to anyone 18+ years old.
Monday, December 15th 1pm - 2pm
This virtual workshop will be held on Zoom.
No cap on participants!
This workshop gives you an overview of the costume design and fabrication process, and offers ideas for how to support Costume Designers and Technicians during a production. Costume designers find that theater leaders who have an understanding of the costume process provide better structure and support, leading to a significantly smoother process, less burn out, and better final product.
