These free workshops are part of our Education series, a grant-funded program aiming to expand and train the pool of people interested in carpentry, painting, projects management, props, and general DIY. This fall, we’re presenting two series of independent workshops aimed at giving you tangible skills you can take with you into your own work.
These workshops are graciously funded by the Anne M. & Philip H. III Glatfelter Foundation.
Have you ever gone to a play and wondered: “How do scenic painters replicate such realistic brick walls?” This workshop teaches you the answer through hands-on experience! PSW’s Scenic Charge Keri Kelly will guide you through three different methods to achieve a dimensional brick wall effect. Learn to render both flat and textured faux finishes, and work with prefabricated, dimensional sheet goods such as vacuform brick. You will leave this workshop with a range of professional artistic techniques.
The best way to stay informed about future workshops is to sign up for our mailing list!
